Developing Skills , Creating Opportunities and Building Independence
The MAB Regional Training Centre (RTC), Temerloh, located at Taman Harapan, is an initiative by the Malaysian Association for the Blind (MAB) aimed at expanding accessible vocational training, employment opportunities and independent living for blind and visually impaired (BVI) individuals.
As part of MAB's long-term development, RTC is being developed to provide industry-relevant training that connects practical skills with meaningful pathways towards employment, entrepreneurship and financial independence.
Building upon MAB's extensive experience in vocational education and rehabilitation, the centre aims to equip trainees with competencies that respond to evolving workforce needs and economic opportunities.
Agrotech & Hydroponics
Building practical skills in agriculture and modern farming.
Handicrafts & Creative Skills
Supporting craftsmanship and creative income-generating activities.
ICT & Digital Skills
Developing computer literacy and technology-related competencies.
Food & Beverage and Hospitality
Preparing trainees for opportunities in food services and hospitality.
Personal Development
Providing specialised training for wellness-related occupations.
Enterprise & Service
Strengthening entrepreneurship, customer service and self-employment skills.
