MAB's recurring donation programme allows members of the public to support our work through regular contributions instead of making only one-off donations.
Regular giving helps MAB plan programmes more sustainably and maintain services that operate throughout the year.
Even a modest recurring contribution, when combined with support from many donors, can provide dependable funding for long-term programmes.

Many of MAB's services are not one-time activities.
Training, rehabilitation, employment support, Braille production, accessible information, community outreach and welfare services require ongoing resources.
Recurring donations give MAB greater stability in planning these services. However, recurring giving is always voluntary.
You should never feel pressured to sign up.

Yes.
You are always free to choose the form of support that is most comfortable for you.
You may make a one-time donation through MAB's official donation channels instead of joining a recurring programme.
Supporting MAB is a choice. We value every genuine contribution, regardless of amount or frequency.

Yes.
MAB may appoint professional fundraising and donor-service partners to support selected fundraising activities.
These organisations help MAB reach members of the public, explain our work, acquire new donors and provide donor servicing.
MAB currently works with authorised service providers including LadderPro, SalesWorks and SG Global Support Services, according to their respective appointed functions and campaigns.
MAB remains responsible for protecting its name, reputation and relationship with its donors.

Professional fundraising partners allow MAB to extend our reach while our staff continue to focus on programmes, services, partnerships and support for the blind and visually impaired community.

External fundraisers do not replace MAB.

They provide a specialised service on behalf of MAB.

A fundraising representative may work for an authorised fundraising agency appointed by MAB rather than being directly employed by MAB.

They must clearly identify the organisation they represent.

You have every right to ask:
“Are you an MAB employee or an authorised fundraising representative?”

They should answer clearly.

You should never be asked to pay a fundraising representative personally.

No fundraiser should ask you to transfer a donation to their personal bank account or personal e-wallet.
